As lead designer for the annual Captain Compassion campaign in support of National Bullying Prevention Month, I collaborated with public relations, marketing, and creative to reimagine the visuals for a new year and apply that to materials across all channels. The measurable goals were to increase traffic to the site as well as downloads of collateral there, including the weekly comic strip releases.

Through the reimagined campaign collateral, we increased traffic to the Captain Compassion campaign page by 102% with 23% more downloads of target collateral over the previous year. The campaign won a Communicator Award of Excellence from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) in the categories of Integrated Campaign: Social Responsibility, and Integrated Campaign: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, as well as a Silver Anthem Award (Brought to you by The Webby Awards) in the category of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion National Campaign.

Collaborated closely with Art Director and marketing team on the product go-to-market campaign of SEL for Adults—a professional learning program that strengthens the social-emotional skills and well-being of K–12 teachers, leaders, and staff. Tasked with marketing the product before it was finalized, we created the look-and-feel based on the few assets we were given.

The successful launch of SEL for Adults created an all-new revenue stream for the company, making it easy for existing customers to prioritize educator well-being alongside the well-being of their students. Campaign materials were instrumental in earning media placements, building awareness, and mapping out implementation.

Collaborating closely with the video team, I led design on multiple motion graphic projects, including the Second Step Educator of the Year Awards, and the Winter Well-Being campaign. With the goals of brand awareness and education, we aimed to maximize engagement and impressions across platforms.

The Second Step Educator of the Year Awards far exceeded expected engagement, achieving 35% above industry standards. Winter Well-Being won a Communicator Award of Excellence from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) in the category of Integrated Campaign: Social Responsibility, while driving millions of impressions across platforms annually.
